Controlled by chemists, our salt spray department ensures that ASTM requirements are met by measuring coating thickness, and by evaluating our coated products for humidity and water resistance. Developed by the automotive industry, ASTM salt spray specifications have set the norm for all coated parts in order to get standardised performances.

Sample plates are produced every two hours from each of our production lines, and are then submitted to testing. Here are some of the testing performed to ensure that SIXPRO coated products meet our high quality standards:
